Messagenius is the secure enterprise messaging for secure, smart and integrated communications among colleagues.
4 February 2019, Rome: Messagenius, the start-up specialised in secure enterprise messaging, is the Italian company named by GSMA (more than 750 operators with over 350 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem) to the “GSMA 100”, a global innovation discovery initiative designed to identify the world’s most promising growth-stage companies and advance the next generation of connectivity and digital services. Messagenius provides companies with the messaging tool for secure, smart and integrated communications among colleagues. Available as both stand-alone app and add-on feature, it combines the ease of instant messaging with the safety of a cybersecurity tool and customizability of an SDK (Software Development Kit). Messagenius can be installed on-premises or on private cloud to be used in everyday communication among colleagues. In addition, Messagenius is fully customizable, being also available in White Label, and integrates into other enterprise software without compromising usability, data ownership, security, GDPR-compliance and work optimization.
“GSMA 100 is an extraordinary growth opportunity for us,” said Luigi Fidelio, CMO and Co-founder of Messagenius. “We are already working with TIM (Telecom Italia), Rai and Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, and we have now attracted interest from operators in Asia, Africa and America that can use Messagenius as internal messenger for their own workforces or resell it to their top clients”.
“GSMA 100 will certainly give impulse to our business development with mobile operators, with prospects that we will meet at Mobile World Congress in the following days and, as a consequence, in our current commercial dialogue with telcos, insurance companies, police forces and hospitals”, said Simone Giacco, CTO and Co-founder of Messagenius.
With a team of under 35 working in Rome and London, Messagenius joins the second cohort of the GSMA 100 with other 17 companies from all around the world.
“We welcome Messagenius to the GSMA 100. The GSMA 100 companies are leaders in categories that are poised to drive digital transformation and industry growth,” said Laxmi Akkaraju, Chief Strategy Officer, GSMA. “We look forward to working with Messagenius to unlock business development and investment opportunities and champion innovation in our industry.”
