Secure Instant Messaging for Employees with Protected Messages Feature
Secure sensitive information with protected messages that require authentication to be opened and read.
Send sensitive information securely with Messagenius’ Protected Messages that require authentication to open and read the message.
Advanced Security for Sensitive Information with Protected Messages
The protected messages mode can apply to any type of message sent - text or voice messages, media, files or locations.
Additional restrictions can prevent actions such as forwarding, printing, or screenshotting, maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of your communications.
Visibility control further enhances security by keeping protected messages locked and hidden until the required authentication is provided by the recipient.
The protected messages remain locked even after they have been opened. Everytime a user returns back to the protected message, the message will require authentication again.
How to send a Protected Message?
Step 1: Type a message. Tap on the “locker” icon next to the text field.
Step 2: Choose the “Protected Message” option.
Step 3: If needed, select additional restrictions such as no screenshot, forward, print, or copy.
Step 4: Send the message. Recipients will be asked for an authentication method preset by the system admin, to open and read the message.
How can Messagenius customize the Protected Message feature for your user case?
Messagenius is a highly customizable and flexible solution, thanks to its white label nature. We can customize the “Protected message” feature to meet your specific requirements in the following ways:
- Define security settings for various user roles.
- Add/remove the types of authentication methods: passwords, PIN codes, IDs, internal IDs, FaceID, fingerprints, or else.
- Add/remove the types of additional restrictions such as no-screenshot, no-forward, no-copy, or no-print for different message types.
- Adjust visibility and access settings for maximum data protection.
F.A.Q.
Black box chat is a Messagenius feature that records every message and chat. When a message is sent, the sender, recipient, and contents are recorded. Messages sent within a black box chat also come with a mandatory proof of receipt. Once the message and its data have been created, the recorded data cannot be erased.
By Black Hole Chat is a disappearing chat or a single message that can be permanently and irrevocably destroyed. To make it work, you send a message with a timer. Once the message is opened, the timer begins. After the timer finishes, the message is destroyed and disappears forever. Since it has not passed through any other communications system, like a 3rd party instant messaging platform, every record of its existence can be eliminated.
A temporary secure chat is a completely private chat between two people that cannot be monitored and disappears as soon as the business is concluded. These chats are designed to happen between two endpoints, such as two mobile devices or two computers. They are not transmitted through any 3rd party servers, software, or platforms. Once the conversation is finished, the data is erased and there is no record of the conversation.
Yes, the users can set their activity status to make sure they do not get contacted when they do not want to. The activity statuses range from active, away, and do not disturb and can be customized further upon our client request.
For added security, Messagenius does not access numbers stored on the user’s smartphone. Instead, it can be set to create them from the databases you already have in use, like Active Directory.
When using Messagenius, your users can filter contacts by role, location, specialty, department and more. However, users do not see email addresses or phone numbers unless you choose to make this information available.
